***PALO SANTO WOOD*** The Palo Santo is found in the countries of Ecuador and Peru, traditionally used as an incense. The wood is resinous and produces essential oil through vapor distillation. The smoke produced has a pleasant aroma of citrus, mint and pine. Palo Santo is naturally cured on the forest floor from around 4 – 10 years in order to be processed and is ethically harvested. Therefore, no living tree is cut otherwise the healing and special properties would be lost.
